We are two old friends filled with a love for food and travel (and the beach).  Over the years we have both spent time living and working abroad and in different parts of the United States. From Thailand to France, from Senegal to Japan –  we have always managed to keep the other in-the-loop in regards to our culinary adventures.

As we find ourselves back in Massachusetts, no longer with oceans or mountain between us, we want to keep the tradition going with this blog!  We Got the Beets primarily focuses on food, but there’s a story and a lot of inspiration that goes behind each dish.  This blog includes recipes, photos, quotes, music, travel experiences, and the list will grow with each additional post.

We hope that our posts encourage you to pick up that spatula and give some recipes a go – because now, you got the beets!
